Our main mission as a modern conference centre is to send happy guests out the door who have had a good and authentic experience with us and who have benefited from our wonderful food, great atmosphere, inspiring environment and not least really good service.
In our unpretentious surroundings, we serve more than 80,000 guests annually for meetings, training courses, conferences and corporate events.
Severin has a very good location, close to the motorway, a view of Lillebælt and a forest in the backyard. So there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy the unique view and leave the rest to us. We are a conference centre with a highly motivated and professional team of “Severiners”, who are always ready with a smile and a twinkle in their eye – and with a touch of high school manner in a good way.
Severin is owned by Coop and we are a member of Danske Konferencecentre. This is the best proof that our top professional training and conference centre meets the high standards required in the industry.
Every day, we focus on responsibility, the environment, ethical trade and climate, taking into account our core values of honesty, relaxation and professionalism.
Save the cake
We hate to see excess cake end up in the bin. That’s why you can buy a “To Go box” at the reception between 4 and 4.30 pm. Fill the box with your favourite cake from the day’s cakebuffet to take home to colleagues or family. The box costs DKK 45, which we donate to the Danish Hospital Clowns. We think that’s win-win!
In the reception – and in the rest of the house – you are welcomed by bright, friendly and modern design furniture. They contribute to our special, homely atmosphere.
The chefs in our kitchen take great pride in the food they serve to our guests every day. They also take pride in developing themselves to constantly come up with new delicious menus.
The kitchen’s focus on sustainability, ecology and Funen seasonal produce shines through on every day’s serving – commitment and honesty are key words for Lars, our head chef.
We can’t hide the fact that we love cake! And we think our guests should enjoy our cake pleasure. Every afternoon we conjure up the most inviting and sumptuous cake buffet. Our guests love it and even call it “THE BEST CAKE BUFFET”
It’s important to us to pass on some of our history as a Co-operative School to our guests. That’s why we’ve furnished our rooms with classic FDB furniture.
In the reception – and in the rest of the house – you’ll find quirky little green Severiners, each with its own unique story based on the particular Andelsskolen, Coop or Severin.
You won’t have to be here long before you start to notice the little details: The “trust bar” at reception, the viewing area with beach chairs and small blankets, free coffee and tea, the sofa area with games for free use, the “spa section” in the room, and the many quotes in the “Think Tank”.
We love to put a smile on your face with our little loving quirks – and we believe that this is actually what makes all the difference – together with our way of being. The special atmosphere at Severin.
