We have a clear position in relation to CSR, and we have an established strategy for how we work with CSR in the following four areas:

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: WE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

It is very important to us to lend a hand to the people who need it.

At Severin we continuously:

  • Educate students: we have spots for trainees at the front desk and in the kitchen and restaurant
  • Help fellow citizens through work ability testing.
  • Support a charity project: Through various initiatives we have supported The Danish Hospital Clowns since 2017

OUR SPECIAL DNA: OUR STAFF IS THE BACKBONE OF SEVERIN

Our employees are the heart and soul of Severin, and they are the ones who really make a difference to our guests. It is important that we take extra good care of our staff. This means that we:

  • Elect the “Severiner” of the Month: All employees vote for a colleague who deserves extra recognition
  • Elect the “Severiner” of the Year: All employees vote for one of the 12 monthly winners
  • Work strategically with our workplace evaluation: We always listen to the needs and wishes of our colleagues to secure an ideal work environment – both physically and mentally
  • Practice visible, goal-oriented, value based and conversational leadership, where continuous and constructive feedback is a given
  • Focus on staff health and job satisfaction
  • Have fun while we work – and we love to laugh with our guests
  • Do our job with pride, joy and respect – for each other and for the environment

WE WANT TO HELP TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT…

We continuously strive to improve our efforts to protect the environment. Consequently, we:

  • Produce 30 per cent of the power and 30 per cent of the hot water we use through solar panels – which saves 50 tons of C02 every year
  • Are Green Key certified
  • Constantly work to reduce food waste
  • Sort our waste
  • Expect our suppliers to meet and concur with our ethical and environmental standards

It is very important to us to live up to the needs and demands of our costumers – and we are happy to do so! That is why we have set high standards for both ourselves and our suppliers. At Severin we therefore:

  • Stay updated about learning and communication so we can provide the best settings for your meeting, seminar or conference
  • Aim to develop delicious food for vegans, vegetarians and people who suffer from allergies – or to others who have special wishes
  • Are aware that professional service and willingness to change is essential if we aim to live up to our guests’ expectations
  • Work with local and organic produce with reference to our guests’ wishes and our own quality standards
  • Expect our suppliers to meet and concur with our ethical and environmental standards
